What a wonderful way to celebrate International Women's Day.

We met at Long Reef Golf Club to hear our guest speaker Karen Coulson explain to us how to live a life you love. Karen speaking from experience, with 6 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 successful businesses that she began from  "start up" - one becoming an international company; the other a leader in it's field.

Karen was described by some of our Business women as "very inspiring" with "lots of insights", "we wished we could hear more" from her.

We learnt that not only the food we eat gives us our energy but also our attitudes and joys of childhood added the spice of life.

A small film clip was played to remind us how far we have come for women's rights! We toasted with champagne to all the other women around the world who have helped us make sure our young women can vote, live safely and enjoy their lives to the full.

Our enthusiatic women enjoyed the many raffle prizes that were donated with thanks going to: Yvette Clarke from ID from Yvette; My Office Services; Sacred Ceremonies; Wendy Buckingham; Gingko Gardens and  Women's Own Adventure for the book and movie tickets to the Cremorne Orpheum.

As Heather McNeill from In Vogue Interiors summed up beautifully "Great gathering and forum for busy women in business. We find we are not the only ones struggling to juggle our lives"
