What a great day our ladies were treated with: to network, served with champagne, fabulous meal, relax with a view to dream and listen to an extraordinary woman’s journey.

 

Lynne Wilkinson spoke of her role as CEO AUSBUY and treated her audience to snippets of her journey of lessons learned in getting to where she is today.

 

Passion was Lynne’s starting point, “it is a truism that life is never dull” – life had taught her that the gifts and challenges are the motivators, as she recalls her mother’s advice “never say no you may miss an opportunity.”

 

Lynne took the wisdom of her mother, her life experiences and filling in the missing blanks that were not taught. Early in her adult life was a checkpoint that made Lynne see the endless potential of what she could achieve. Opportunities arose, she was prepared to step outside the square – “learned I could survive cancer so the rest seemed easy.”

 

Giving recognition to those who had influence in her life, that business was to be a balance of family and community and holds these values just as strong today. One such value ‘that people always matter, that we all matter.’
