Janne Ashton
Janne Ashton was born and educated in Sydney, and started her working life as an economics teacher. In 2004, Janne started her own financial planning business, Plan Protect, and was soon joined by her son Byron, and shortly after by her husband, Garry. Janne started in financial planning when a number of people she knew received advice that she felt was inappropriate to their situation. She developed a true passion for it once she realised first hand the effect of having an injury with no income protection, and when she was able to use financial planning principles to turn her own lifestyle around. Her book The Windfall Club is a result of her business bringing her into contact with many people who have received a windfall. She believes that there are two defining factors in determining who is able to correctly manage the money, and thereby keep it. Contact Janne now at Plan Protect on www.planprotect.com.au
